| _BIOG_EN_L | Research was then undertaken into the 1911 Census using FindmyPast. A search was made for "Minnie” in London. This search found hundreds of results as it covered the whole of the area of London and not just the Jewish area. To further this search to breakdown the ages would have been outside the scope of this Research assignment due to the vast amount of entries. On looking through many of these entries an entry was found and this Minnie proved fruitful in that she was 10 years old and so would have been 21 years old when having Miriam (going by the age of her birth in the school entry in NZ). This Minnie was also a good match in that her father worked on the Railway and this may be where Miriam had heard of the railway connection. This Minnie lived with her father Frederic Ingram who was a Carman on the Midland Railway. The family lived at 33 King John Street, Stepney, London and so were also in the Jewish area of London. The second Minnie that is possible is Minnie Ingram. She was born in Stepney, London. Her father was Fredrick and he worked as a Carman on the Midland Railway. This Minnie was 10 years old in the 1911 Census. No definitive marriage was found for Minnie Ingram before the year 1922. This Minnie links in with the memory of someone working on the Railway.
