The other household in the 1911 Census that may be the family of Miriam is the Abramowitz family who lived in Whitechapel, a Jewish area of London. The father of Minnie Abramowitz was called Nathan and was a general dealer. Minnie was 5 years old in the 1911 Census and so would have been 16 years old in 1922 placing her in the correct age bracket to have given birth to Miriam. This Minnie is also a possibility to be the Mother of Miriam as Miriam remembered being called Miriam Abramowitz. [1] |
