| _BIOG | Died Nov. 1, 1960 - Never married. (Heart Attack- Fell over in boat on Big Hawk Lake) Remembered fondly by nephew Don Clement. Lived in a small house on original Gainforth property. House was where the original log house was and root cellar was between house and the lake (back of the house). Don, Bill & Jack & Kenny used to go there on their bikes. Don remembers Uncle Bill's rice pudding as being the best that there was. Uncle Bill must have realized that as the 4 boys ate a lot of it. Don got a fishhook in his foot when he was 5 or 6, near Uncle Bill's & remembers his Uncle taking the fish hook out with his staight razor. Don remembers that he had a modern car - a 38 Chevy or something. --Other Fields Cause: Heart Attack in boat on Hawk Lake --Sources Birth: Evergreen Cemetery Records, Haliburton, Ont. and Altha Holland.
